- Phone: tap anywhere on the game to flap. The game opens full screen when you press Play.
- Coins: collect them between pipes, then spend them in the Shop.
- Power-ups: a shield blocks one hit, slow-mo halves the speed and x2 doubles your score for a few seconds.
- Environments: choose Classic, Forest, Desert, Ocean, Space or Candy before you play.
- Perfect pass: fly through the middle of a gap for a bonus coin.
- Missions and awards: new daily missions, 8 awards and a top 5 score list for each difficulty.
- Difficulty: pick Easy, Medium or Hard on the start screen. Best scores are kept separately.
- Start: choose difficulty and bird colour, then press Play.
- Fly: tap, click or press Space to flap. Pass through the gap between two pipes to score 1 point.
- Speed: the game gets a little faster and the gaps a little tighter as your score grows.
- Sky: in the Classic environment the sky changes from day to sunset to night as you score more.
- Environment: pick Classic, Forest, Desert, Ocean, Space or Candy on the start screen. Each one has its own scenery.
- Coins: collected coins are added to your balance when the game ends.
- Shop: buy birds, hats, trail effects and a start-with-shield upgrade.
- Shield and slow-mo: they appear between pipes now and then. Fly through them to pick them up.
The game runs in your browser. Scores, coins and unlocks are stored only on this device, so clearing browser data resets them.

Game Basics
Flappy Bird is a simple yet challenging game where you control a bird by tapping (on mobile) or pressing the spacebar/up arrow (on desktop) to make it flap its wings and fly. Navigate through gaps between green pipes without touching them or the ground.
Mobile: Tap anywhere on the screen to make the bird flap.
Desktop: Press SPACEBAR or UP ARROW key to flap.
Some versions also support mouse clicks. The game automatically starts when you make your first flap.
Your score increases by 1 point for each pair of pipes you successfully navigate through. The game ends when you hit a pipe, the ground, or the ceiling. There are no bonus points or multipliers - just your raw skill!

While the original game had one difficulty, our version offers three modes: Easy (wider gaps between pipes), Normal (standard Flappy Bird difficulty), and Hard (faster speed and narrower gaps). You can switch modes from the main menu.
Yes, your highest score is automatically saved in your browser's local storage. If you clear your browser data, your high score will be reset. For permanent score saving across devices, you can create an account in our premium version.
